EP Carbon has been an advocate for carbon-financed conservation and restoration from the early days of the modern carbon markets.
From our engagement with the Chicago Climate Exchange, adoption of the Verified Carbon Standard, and subsequent development of projects under VCS and the California cap-and-trade markets, we’ve evolved, adapted, and grown with carbon markets.
We don’t own or operate projects, but we provide all the technical support needed for your project to generate carbon credits.

We were the technical partner on the first forest carbon project verified under VCS, co-wrote one of the early VCS REDD methodologies, and built the first grouped forestry projects in locations like Oregon and Guatemala.
